IBA Tiki
Two rums, passionfruit, pineapple and a little amaretto. Created in 2024 for the International Bartenders Association's official list.
What's in it
- 30ml (1 oz) Aged rum
- 30ml (1 oz) Smoky rum
- 15ml (½ oz) Amaretto
- 5ml (1 tsp) Hazelnut liqueurIt's in the official recipe, but leave it out if you have none. A teaspoon won't make or break it.
- 5 drops Maraschino liqueurIt's in the official recipe, but leave it out if you have none.
- 30ml (1 oz) Passionfruit puréeor the pulp of two passionfruit
- 90ml (3 oz) Pineapple juice
- 30ml (1 oz) Lime juice
- 1 thin slice Fresh ginger
How to make it
- Muddle the slice of ginger in the bottom of a shaker.
- Add both rums, the amaretto, hazelnut liqueur, maraschino, passionfruit purée, pineapple juice and lime juice.
- Shake hard with ice.
- Strain into a tiki mug filled with crushed ice.
