Tokyo Iced Tea

A Long Island Iced Tea with Midori in it and lemonade in place of the cola, so it comes out bright green. Just as strong as the original.

What cocktail can I make?

Where it came from

When, where and by whom melon liqueur was first added to a Long Island Iced Tea is unknown. Midori itself reached the United States in 1978, launched at a Studio 54 party, and a 'Three Mile Island' iced tea was being poured in Washington State by 1985, though no one can say which name came first. Simon Difford has suggested TGI Fridays, but the chain found no record of it; the earliest printed recipe is in Paul Knorr's 10,000 Drinks of 2007.
