Planter's Punch
The old rule is one part sour, two parts sweet, three parts strong. Add water or ice until it tastes right to you.
What's in it
- 45ml (1½ oz) Jamaican rum
- 15ml (½ oz) Lime juice
- 30ml (1 oz) Sugar cane juiceor 15ml sugar syrup and 15ml water
- to taste Water
- 1 Orange twist optional
How to make it
- Pour the rum, lime juice and sugar cane juice into a rocks glass and stir.
- Fill the glass with ice.
- Taste, and add a splash of cold water if it's too strong.
- Express an orange twist over the top.
