A French 75 made with vodka in place of gin: lighter and more neutral, so the sparkling wine comes through.
What's in it
- 30ml (1 oz) Vodka
- 15ml (½ oz) Lemon juice
- 10ml (⅓ oz) Sugar syrup
- to top Sparkling wine
- 1 Lemon twist optional
How to make it
- Chill a flute.
- Shake the vodka, lemon juice and sugar syrup hard with ice.
- Strain into the flute and top slowly with sparkling wine.
- Express a lemon twist over the top.
