Canchanchara
One of Cuba's oldest drinks, from the town of Trinidad. Honey, lime and young cane spirit.
What's in it
- 60ml (2 oz) Cuban aguardiente
- 15ml (½ oz) Lime juice
- 15ml (½ oz) Honey
- 50ml (1⅔ oz) Water
- 1 Lime wedge optional
How to make it
- Stir the honey, lime juice and water together in a rocks glass until the honey dissolves.
- Swirl it so it coats the bottom and sides of the glass.
- Fill with cracked ice and pour in the aguardiente.
- Churn from the bottom up, and garnish with a lime wedge.
