Three Dots and a Dash
Morse code for V, for victory. Don the Beachcomber again, named in 1940s wartime. The allspice dram is what gives it its spice.
What's in it
- 45ml (1½ oz) Aged rum
- 20ml (⅔ oz) Lime juice
- 15ml (½ oz) Orange juice
- 15ml (½ oz) Honey syrup
- 15ml (½ oz) Falernum
- 7.5ml (¼ oz) Allspice dramIn the IBA recipe. Leave it out and you lose the spice, but it still works.
- 2 dashes Aromatic bitters
How to make it
- Shake the rum, lime juice, orange juice, honey syrup, falernum, allspice dram and bitters with crushed ice.
- Pour unstrained into a highball.
- Garnish with three cherries and a pineapple chunk.
