100 Year Old Cigar

Aged rum with Bénédictine, Cynar and a splash of smoky Scotch: dark, rich and as smoky as the name. Maks Pazuniak created it in Brooklyn.

What cocktail can I make?

Where it came from

Pazuniak first made it in 2015 or 2016 while working at the Counting Room, and it went with him when he opened Jupiter Disco in Bushwick with business partner Al Sotack in 2016. The same year it was published in Carey Jones's Brooklyn Bartender: A Modern Guide to Cocktails and Spirits. His original called for Ron Zacapa 23 and Laphroaig 10, stirred and served in an absinthe-rinsed Nick & Nora glass.
