Sangria
Red wine, brandy and fruit, left to sit. It's made by the jug; this is one glass of it.
What's in it
- 120ml (4 oz) Red wine
- 20ml (⅔ oz) Brandy optional
- 30ml (1 oz) Orange juice
- 10ml (⅓ oz) Sugar syrup
- 1 Orange slice
- to top Soda water optional
How to make it
- Put the orange slice in a wine glass with the red wine, brandy, orange juice and sugar syrup, and stir.
- Leave it in the fridge for an hour if you can, so the fruit and the wine get to know each other.
- Add ice and top with a splash of soda water.
- For a jug, multiply everything by six: a bottle of wine makes about six glasses.
