Mojito
What's in it
- 60ml (2 oz) White rum
- 25ml (¾ oz) Lime juice
- 2 tsp White sugaror 15ml sugar syrup
- 10 leaves Fresh mint
- to top Soda water
How to make it
- Muddle the mint gently with the sugar and lime juice in the bottom of a highball, until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the rum and fill with crushed ice.
- Churn with a spoon to lift the mint through.
- Top with soda water and garnish with a mint sprig.
With sugar syrup
Use 15ml sugar syrup in place of the sugar, and press the mint more lightly: there is no sugar to dissolve.
