Mint Julep
What's in it
- 60ml (2 oz) Bourbon
- 10 leaves Fresh mint
- 1 tsp Powdered sugaror 10ml sugar syrup, and no water
- 2 tsp Water
How to make it
- Muddle the mint gently with the sugar and water in the bottom of a julep cup.
- Fill the cup with crushed ice.
- Add the whisky and churn with a spoon until the cup frosts.
- Top with more crushed ice and garnish with a mint sprig.
With sugar syrup
Use 10ml sugar syrup and leave out the water. Press the mint gently into the syrup, then carry on from step 2.
