The Negroni's older, gentler ancestor — before Campari joined in.
What's in it
- 45ml (1½ oz) Gin
- 30ml (1 oz) Sweet vermouth
- 1 Orange twist optional
How to make it
- Chill a coupe.
- Fill a mixing glass with ice and add the gin and sweet vermouth.
- Stir for twenty to thirty seconds, until the mixing glass frosts.
- Strain into the chilled coupe.
