Sazerac
Rye is the call, bourbon is fine, and Peychaud's is traditional — any aromatic bitters will do.
What's in it
- 60ml Rye whisky
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 4 dashes Aromatic bitters
- 1 dash Absinthe, to rinse optional
- 1 Lemon twist optional
How to make it
- Rinse a chilled glass with absinthe and discard the excess.
- Stir the rest with ice, strain in, lemon twist over the top — then throw the twist away.
